Brilliant concept, and both smartly and beautifully executed with nuance and wit. The thing is, I gave up after the 15th try with that bullet phase thing in the second Debate phase. I'd really like to be able to finish it, but I played this game for logic and story, and I was really put off by having to struggle through unnecessary "bullet-time" interruptions with a cursor I can't even see. You've done wonderful work, but if I wanted to play Burrito Bison, that's what I would have done.
Thanks for playing. Can you be more specific about not being able to see the cursor? Is it completely invisible (which would be a bug, no pun intented) or too small/low-contrast in the context of bullet time?
I can add a custom, high-contrast, insect-themed cursor in the next version if that helps. Now that I think of it, I could also lower the threshold with each try.
Well, I was playing full screen, and the cursor simply stayed as standard arrow icon. It was small and low contrast enough with the background that I found myself losing track of it quite a lot, so much that I had to pause to reacquire it, which invariably led to missing a few of the word bubbles. I frequently found that I'd moved the mouse off the screen, and so reactively jerked the cursor back and forth, which made it even harder to find the cursor again. I could probably have made it work if I'd kept trying, but it became more frustrating than fun, and that was enough to make me quit. I was far more interested in the actual ideas and logic than the bullet-game, so that was disappointing.
Thanks for the details. I guess a custom (bigger) cursor seems like the solution (maybe a crosshair one in the bullet phase), I'll see what I can come up with.

Hi, I just published Uproar 0.5, with a new cursor (which is a little fly) and lowered difficulty after failing a phase.
Thanks again for the remarks!
Woah, this is impressively good!
It captures the epicness of a good Ace Attorney episode, but on a background of political solidarity/anarchism.
Manages to slide in some cool dialogues despite the small scope.
Very cool
No kidding!
Thanks very much! ^^
