Smol update

Howdy, internauts! Here is a new version of Gordon Smash Bros. Also I might consider renaming this game at some point, just to be safe.
Here are the changes since last Thursday:

- Add pause menu
- Add music & audio settings
- Add 2 player mode
- Make AI a bit less stupid
- Revamp UI

By the way, why make this game?

That's a very good question!

I was stuck on projects in which it took hours to do any small thing. Polishing and tweaking were the kings of these past few weeks. But in the end, nothing was published but a few screenshots on social media, their doubtful promises soon to be inevitably broken.

That's when Gordon, with his grey welcoming smile, welcomed my demotivated self and told me his words of wisdom: hey what if u make a game liek smash bros but gordn! thatd b cool!!11

And in a few hours, it was ready.

I still have this unreasonable feeling of having published too many small games to properly organize, which stops me from doing more of them. Itch's dashboard layout certainly doesn't help. But that fear is fading with each stride of confidence, one prototype at a time. I guess this will make for a new post on my new blog at some point.
